While there is much afoot in the reality of trauma, there is also something else rising. Trauma builds in the body like packing mud until it becomes hard, rigid, and unyielding. We, as a people, do not know what reality is like when we are no longer impacted by trauma. Trauma is not the problem. Being impacted by it is.
“Muscular armoring is a term introduced by Wilhelm Reich and refers to muscular rigidity that builds up as a self-protective mechanism when we repel or suppress our emotions. There’s usually a lot of muscular armoring in the belly and solar plexus (especially when suppressing fear), but also in the pelvis, chest, neck and face.”* http://www.tigerfreedom.com/2-simple-exercises-to-break-muscular-armoring/
Those repelled or suppressed emotions are generated by memory. Unpleasant or frightening experiences are met by our body with resistance. The body armors itself from the pain or fear of the experience. Hence, muscle armoring.
Many people have been doing the Creation Exercises over a period of time and have been experiencing lessening of pain, muscular release, and less resistance to taking on what they have feared like being in love again or doing something they once would have fled from because they knew they wouldn’t be good at it in the beginning…and more.
The Creation Exercises are designed to transmute trauma into life force energy by your directing where you want what you crave to go. As you direct where you want what you crave to go, you release the stuck energy of trauma that has your system packed down into immobility. Release begins to occur.
What is little known is, as the trauma is released from the body, it is transmuted into life force energy. As it transmutes into life force energy, the effects of memory that held people back from deeper feelings and taking on things that might be challenging but deeply craved rise. What is so brilliant and intelligent about the body is it is our first responder long before we understand what is happening. The amount of people who are beginning to experience trauma release is staggering. It doesn’t look rational in view of the conflict that is everywhere. Yet, the body would not be releasing trauma unless another reality free of trauma was rising.
It isn’t just that we walk our talk now. We are beginning to embody a new paradigm of reality that operates in unity with all life, in a cooperative relationship with what gives life and has us exist as whole, and in the vitality of aliveness that is our birthright. This will emerge more and more in an environment of consciousness that is trauma-free.
On behalf of the work we are about in the Spirals, I am dedicating this month to the emerging of an unknown reality that is ours to crave and create from the life force energy being repurposed from our cellular memory of trauma.
Sharing from those using the Creation Exercises
“My body is responding. The pain is not as severe as it was. My thoughts that are self-defeating – well, doing even a couple of templates in my mind diffuses the emotional charge.”
“I now see that that I didn’t even know that my body was frozen until my shoulders began to move again. It was amazing to experience them becoming more and more mobile. The life force energy released from the trauma memory translates into the rigidity of the body being released also. Amazing!”
“I feel called to confront feelings about myself and the work I want to do now. I feel more strength, stamina, and capacity to take on what I crave than before. Something has changed in me since participating in the 90-day Creation Exercise project. It isn’t that I’m not scared. It is more that something internal is more able.”
