It’s Gonna Bright Bright Bright Sun Shiny Day
There’re times that I am so glad to be me.
It is 5:40 am in the morning. It was so good to be able to sleep on both sides again. My left hip has been a flaming mess for a few weeks as has Lily’s. Our bed is now a lovely floor bed which I love with a simple sculpted stained box around it that Barry in his fine handiwork had made for me. Lily sleeps with me always curled up against the curve of my body which a quite curved. She won’t be jumping up onto anything now as she enters her twelfth year with a weakened left leg. I dreamed again this morning a dream I had dreamed a long time ago again. I am pretty sure the delicious flavor of the dream has something to do with the smooth dark chocolate I had last night that goes with wine, which I don’t drink. No matter, the chocolate is enough. Thank you, Jim, my chocolate Christmas gift is still being enjoyed.
The dream was a follow-up dream from another dream I had a while ago. The dreams were about another kind of world where everyone was in a musical. As they sang the music, they became so bright and expanded and vibrant, I laughed with pure joy. I laughed even louder because the last time I dreamed it, I was not standing on the street where it was all happening. I was standing outside of all the activity looking on. Now I was part of it. I was so elated, I woke up grinning and humming. The song that kept playing over and over again was I Can See Clearly Now. I knew we were on the right track. I knew that there are people who are beginning to hear the musicThe music is almost heard. The vibrancy almost felt. The brightness almost seen. The expanded deeper nature of ourselves at hand.
Precious.
I can see clearly now, the rain is gone,
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day.
I think I can make it now, the pain is gone
All of the bad feelings have disappeared
Here is the rainbow I’ve been prayin’ for
It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day.
Look all around, there’s nothin’ but blue skies
Look straight ahead, nothin’ but blue skies
I can see clearly now, the rain is gone,
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day.
