The Awakening of the System of Self in a Limbic Activation

During a recent session with a client, I had the opportunity to work with the limbic system—a fascinating and intricate part of the human brain that plays a pivotal role in our emotions, memories, and sense of self. This session unraveled profound insights, not just about my client but about the human capacity for transformation and embodiment.

Discovering the Heart of the Limbic System

At the center of this work lies the amygdala—two small yet powerful structures in the brain often likened to sentinels. These sentinels constantly ask a simple yet profound question: Are you happy? While we often associate the amygdala with stress and fear, its deeper purpose is to monitor and protect our state of peace and happiness. This revelation shifted how I approached the session, focusing not just on releasing tension but on inviting the amygdala to trust a new possibility.

Through imaginative language and a meditative approach, I found that creativity and delight are crucial to a healthy limbic system. Studies suggest that the more imaginative and engaged we are with our creative force, the healthier this system becomes. This session reinforced that insight, as I used imaginative metaphors to navigate the complexities of my client’s neural and etheric systems.

Etheric Systems and the Golden Mesh

One of the most striking discoveries during the session was the presence of what I describe as a "golden mesh"—an etheric structure surrounding the brain. This mesh, often symbolized in ancient depictions of halos, represents the interconnectedness of the physical and etheric aspects of our being. It was a moment of awe to witness how this golden mesh harmonized with the limbic system, acting as a bridge between the physical body and the larger energetic systems that define our essence.

Identity and the Limbic System’s Role in Selfhood

Another layer of complexity emerged when exploring how the limbic system is intricately tied to our sense of self. Early in life, we form identities to navigate and protect ourselves in the world, often at the cost of suppressing deeper, more authentic aspects of our being. These protective mechanisms can create rigidity, causing the system to rely on outdated responses to perceived threats.

In this session, I worked to soften the rigidity in my client’s limbic system, allowing for a more fluid response. This involved introducing harmonics that resonate with the soul's unique frequency, encouraging the system to shift from protect-and-defend mode to a state of openness and exploration. It was a process of reclamation—of reclaiming the self that had been hidden beneath layers of societal and personal conditioning.

The Magic of Neuroplasticity

Perhaps the most exciting realization was the connection between neuroplasticity and the limbic system's health. Neuroplasticity—the brain's ability to adapt and form new connections—is not just a biological phenomenon but a deeply creative one. By introducing new harmonics and inviting the limbic system to explore uncharted possibilities, we stimulate this dynamic capacity for growth and change.

This session underscored the importance of neuroplasticity in creating elasticity within the brain. As the limbic system became less rigid, it began to vibrate with a broader range of frequencies, creating space for new patterns and experiences to emerge. This process, though subtle, is profoundly life-enhancing and offers a glimpse into the extraordinary adaptability of the human mind.

An Invitation to Adventure

At the heart of this work is an invitation—to embark on an adventure of self-discovery and awakening. It is not about fixing or changing oneself but about remembering and embracing the unique essence that lies within. For my client, this session was the beginning of a journey to reclaim their sense of self, not as a product of external expectations but as a celebration of their own inherent beauty and wonder.

For all of us, the limbic system holds the potential to guide us back to our true selves, harmonizing the physical and etheric aspects of our being. Through imagination, creativity, and a willingness to explore, we can awaken this system to its fullest potential, creating a life of joy, balance, and profound connection.

In the words of one of my mentors, “You have a great adventure available to you.” May we all embrace this adventure with open hearts and minds.
